Is the evaporator vent solenoid stuck in open position and does it need to be replaced?

I had that same code p0455 in my truck. so I change the purge solenoid on the engine near the fuel rail above the manifold and that took care of the code. If you are doing the work yourself you need to take the negitive cable from your battery before you do your work. Once you finish the work connect the battery back up and run the vehicle to see if the code comes back, it did not come back in my truck.
