Swapping inside mirror help needed
I just purchased a 15 Malibu 1LT that came with a manual dim inside mirror. I am going to swap that out for an autodim mirror. This is a fairly easy mod. I have done it numerous times on other vehicles.
My issue right now is how do I remove the shroud around the existing mirror base? I have searched the web with no luck. I did find some info for the Cruze and was hoping the one on the Malibu was the same. Got the mirror in yesterday, went out to the car to start the swap, and found they are not the same.
I don't want to break the shroud and that is where I need some help.
