1996 chevy lumina fuel pump relay clicks in cold weather and wont start
I have a 96 4 door lumina 3.1 that wont start in cold weather.. the fuel pump relay just clicks when its cold.. after the sun warms the car it will start.. why is this and what will fix it?

Explain cold? What is the humidity average? That relay sets under the hood with the cooling fan relay. Open the top, is there any corrosion? Corrosion isn't not just red rust, but white deposits. Can you hear the pump? I'd suggest after the rest of my posted suggestions, exchange the cooling fan, and pump relay. If no change please post, or if it fixes it, replace the relay, and post as such.

96 lumina
cold is below 28 degrees F
humidity is 40% or it can be after a rain and the temp is below 35
i have replaced the relay with no results many time...
there is no corrosion at all
when i turn on the ignition all i hear is the relay clicking at a very fast rate
it just seems to happen when cold ...sometime dampness will cause it not to start in weather thats not as cold.. maybe 35 degrees F and under. hope that helps!
