Default RE: Changing spark plugs

i did my 2000 impala when i did lower intake gaskets on it and it was a piece of cake because everything was removed... but that doesn't help you any. but what Ive done in the past on those tough to get at plugs on the back side plugsis to do it from the under side with a long extension and a universal swivel socket. i have also removed the top dog bones and and rocked the motor forward by starting the engine and putting it in gear and slowly giving it gas while holding the brake pedal. there is most likely a safer way to do it but this is how i have done it. good luck!

I know it's an old thread. After rocking the engine foward have a piece of 2 by 4 to wedge it there while you change the plugs.
