Default GM vats bypass module on 98 chevy lumina

Hello this is my first post here

I have purchased the Vats bypass module which is found here:

GM VATS or PASSkey II Bypass Module For LS1 and LT1 | eBay

and I was wondering if anyone has any clue where to install this at on a 1998 Chevy Lumina. If anyone knows please help me out so I can fix my security issue.

Thanks
Rick

Welcome to the forum. The product image made me curious enough to look at the manual. It's certainly different way of doing it, directly sending the fuel enable signal to the PCM instead of simulating the presence of the key (actually the resistor pellet on the key). The fuel enable circuit 229 on your vehicle is the DK BLU wire that goes from the theft deterrent module to PCM connector C1, pin 55. Good luck.

I don't know where the theft deterrent module is, I don't have a service manual can anyone help me in locating where the TDM is?

Thanks

EDIT: Actually from googling i believe it is behind the glove box but what does it look like?

I looked under the hood under this box that I read on another site and I looked for the dark blue wire and didn't see it (this box was supposed to be the ecm) So I'm just lost as to where this stuff is

well i cut a dark blue wire in the BCM and hooked up the part, and I thought it was working but today the car stopped starting again so I dont think it was the right wire. My view is tho if I cut a wire that wasn't right something wouldnt be working right on the cars computer? Im not sure im just not
