Default multifunctional sw or turn signal sw

hey everyone,
i have a 99 lumina ltz and having electrical problems. r/f signal and l/r signal dont work. i was told it could be a switch but i don't know which i have or both and its too much of an expensive part to be guessing.multifunctional is around $90 and turn signal $65 either way its got to be changed.its draining my battery everyother day
