Question Question about 2000 Monte Carlo SS

Hi all,

I bought a 2000 SS Monte Carlo from a used car dealership last September. It came with Nascar tires and a Dale Earnhardt signature on the cluster. After some research I noticed that the Dale Earnhardt edition came out in 2002 not 2000. So now I'm very confused as to what year my car actually is. It's solid black, it doesn't have the silver on the bottom, no Intimidator stickers or #3 stickers on the body and the interior is not leather. Could it be as simple as someone replaced the cluster at one point in time with the Dale Earnhardt one? Any input it appreciated!

Thanks
