Default temp gauge not working

i have a 2000 monte carlo with the 3.8 series 2 and the temp gauge stop working so replace the cts and its still not working NEED HELP!

Default temp sensor

i have an 02 ss, i had the same problem, check ur connection on ur tems sensor, mine was broke off, and it didnt read. it should be right under ur exhaust mantifold in the front of the engine. let me know how it turns out
