Default ECM fuse blown and gas fume smell

For the last couple of weeks I have been smelling gas fumes from my 93 S-10, no gas leaks anywhere, no smell inside the truck, but smells bad when driving with the window down. Can also smell it when the truck is parked, but not as bad. This week the ECM fuse blew, been ok for 3 days since I replaced the fuse. Did put a fuel pump in it in August of 2013. Was wondering if these 2 problems were liked some how.

Welcome to the forum...
I'd bet your canister is not working correctly or is defective, head over the the S-10 section of the forum for answers to technical questions
