Default 1990 Ford E-250 Cargo Van vs 1991 Chevrolet G30 Supervan

Hello everyone this is my first post in the forum. Not sure if this is the right place for this post.
I'm looking for an older cargo van for vandwelling. I'd be driving it in the mountains and I don't want to worry too much about weight.

I'm looking at two vans on CL:

1990 Ford E-250
351 v8 windsor engine
168k miles
recently replaced: belts, hoses, distributor cap, plugs, wires, fuel sender, fuel filter and fuel line.
No other service records

1991 Chevrolet G30 Super Sport van
350 V-8 engine
263k miles
2nd original owner - extensive Maintenance records
Upgraded Air conditioning system.
Seats 7 passengers
Strong Rebuilt Transmission (recent service).
Excellent mechanically

That's the info from CL. I met the owner of the Ford yesterday and found there's also a large crack in the windshield, so that would need to be replaced. I'm also worried about the transmission because I'm seeing that a lot of these older vans get the transmissions rebuilt.

As far as I can tell, they both get about the same mileage (terrible) and they're in the same price range (little under $2k).

With just this info, what would you choose? What concerns do you have? What questions would you ask? Don't know much about cars/engines, so appreciate any advice. I know this is a Chevy forum so I expect there to be some bias
TIA
