Nominate!! July 2010 Ride of the Month!
Ok we are going to have it cut short by a few days. Brent is having internet problems, but that wont stop the Ride of the Month for July!!
With that being said, this months theme is fittingly enough, SUMMER.
Lets see some cars AND trucks you'd drive to the beach, take the top down on the highway or simply just cruise in style this summer!!
As always,
To be eligible to compete in the ROTM, you must meet the following requirements:
-Must be a member for a month prior to the ROTM. (example: joined July 21st, eligible for September ROTM)
-Must have made at least 4 posts per month over the past two months prior to the ROTM OR at least 10 in the first month of membership for members joined only one month beforehand.
-Must have a post count of at least 13.
-Must have a photo gallery or garage set up with at least one photos. How-to: Adding a Photo Gallery
-Vehicle does not have to be Chevrolet<nobr id="itxt_nobr_5_0"></nobr>, but must share a GM platform with a Chevrolet Vehicle<nobr style="" id="itxt_nobr_8_0"></nobr>. For instance, a Saturn Aura may compete because it shares the Malibu platform, but a Pontiac Solstice <nobr style="" id="itxt_nobr_9_0"></nobr>may not because it has no Chevrolet counterpart.
-Chevrolet-powered watercrafts, motorcycles, ATVs, Dune Buggies, and cars of a different make are not allowed to compete.
-Dragsters and other race cars may compete if they have a Chevy body.
ROTM PROCESS
-A nominations thread will be opened on the first of every month.
-The theme alternates each month. One month we will have trucks, the next will be cars and so on.
-Any member can nominate an eligible member's vehicle. (you may NOT nominate yourself) -Nominate by saying "I nominate BigJoe123".
-A maximum of two nominations can be made by one member, if voting has not started by the 6th day, members who have made two nominations may make another to get things going.
-Please PM THE PERSON YOU ARE NOMINATING.
-Once nominated, the nominee must accept or decline.
-Up to 5, but no less than 3 candidates may compete.
-If 5 candidates are chosen before the 15th, voting begins immediately.
-A picture from the participants gallery will be used in the voting thread.
-Participants may send a PM to EvansBlue with the picture you want in the voting thread if you wish. (picture cannot be any larger than 640x480px). If the PM is not sent, then one will be selected from the competitor's gallery.

Iam a new member and if you can find a better canidate I'll stand aside, otherwise I think I have a winner for all summer long. They only made 16 of these and I have #4. My 92 they only made 24 & i have #10. They are so rare it took 7 yrs to find my second (looking 3 x a month). Found the white one in Jan '10 in Iowa. Only had it 5 mos now. The red one took 4 yrs to get it like it is.
