I think he was expecting more then just rims, a body kit and a stock classic car. No body has any real performance mods done to the car, or any personal touch. Nothing under the hood... nothing impressive. I am not talking about drag cars, I am talking about vehicles that have time put into them.
Laugh all you want about the make of the car, but it looks better, there are more hours spent, and it will spank any of those cars. If you knew anything about an SL2 you would know he customized almost every square inch of that car, all the way down to the turbo manifold. There are practically no real performance parts out there for these cars. That is something I respect.

A stock classic? Do you have any idea what it takes to maintain a "stock classic" in it's stock classic appearance and still retain it's value? Have you ever done a frame off, #'s matching restoration? Just as I thought.. NO. Get some time under the hood and turn some of your own wrenches before you come on this website and criticize. Doesn't matter what is up for nomination as the "Ride of the Month". Each one of these members is damn proud of their rides and have spent time adding their own personal touch. Better yet, come over to the SRT-10 forum and talk some smack. I guarantee they will make you cry and make you go back to your mommies basement and play some more "Dungeons and Dragons" with your other loser friends. Come back when you have something constructive to say. To all the other members on this site, my apologies for losing my cool but I hate those that can't accept others for their values and always have negative things to say. 18 1/2 years in the military has made me state what I feel and without reservation.

This is MY Custom Idea. Anyone else that has this either got the idea from me or I have done their work. Ive done GM's Eclipse's you name it
Exterior
5% tint all windows
BBE Quad Headlight Mod --CUSTOM. Having both highs and lows kick on when the highs are activated..
BBE Quad Taillight Mod--CUSTOM. Only 6 people to date that I know of have this mod. Pretty custom if I say so myself.
If anyone knows impalas, The 00-05 Impala has what appears to be quad taillights in the rear, when in fact, the inner two lights server as only reverse lights and tail reflectors. In order to improve styling and visibility, this article will describe how to modify the center taillight section to make the inner lights active. (From BBE)
Here is the custom write up:
http://www.bbengineer.com/cars/impala/tailights.htm
Custom Taillight Blackout
Red Underbody Neons
Trendz Billet Grille
Audio
2- Lab12" Eminence Speaker
Cadence A7HC 1400rms 1 ohm
Infinity 6x9 and 6.5
Rims & Tires
20" Cabo
Says most of this in my sig right?
More custom work? Have you looked at my garage pics at all. That SLP Monte exhaust isnt stock and my car isnt a monte. Lets be honest, I have 0 knowledge in any other cars. No makes no models except for the impala. Hence why I only post in the impala forums, and mod the impala forums. But I do know my ****. I dont know when someone does something custom to a vette or a silverado, but I do know what a stock impala looks like 00-09.

Great way to put it. I have my own personal touch and so does everyone else. Most of my stuff is custom. I agree Aaron. I you can see I took alot of offense to this.

Sauce,
Love the work that you have done on your ride. Looks like you have dove right into your ride and made some major modifications. Keep up the good work. Yes, I take offense to negative comments. After all, we are all supporting the aftermarket automotive industry and all share the same common interest.
