01 blazer battery goes dead after sitting for 3 or 4 days
battery keeps going dead after sitting for 3 or 4 days. I unplugged vanity lights in visors ash tray light glove box light alternator is good but on volt gauge it showsa 14 amps and then sometimes it will drop down light to 9 volts and then after a while jump back up to 14 volts please help driving me crazy.

I'd suggest these:
1) Verify the voltmeter is correct.
2) Use a hydrometer to check the specific gravity of the battery cells, or take it to verify it is good. Just becuase it is a year or so old dosen't mean it is good.
3) If the voltage is oscelating 9-14 volts, have the alternator tested, AFTER you check for clean battery cable posts, and GROUNDS from the battery.
