Default 1988 s10 cuts off while driving

My 88 s10 cuts off randomly while driving. I have replaced the ignitor coil, fuel pump, fuel filter, distributor wiring harness, plugs and wires. After all these repairs, the issue ceased for about 2 weeks but it just started again yesterday. When it cuts off, it doesn't die immediatly if I give it gas, but will if I let off the pedal. It has started up again after it shuts off whether I pop the clutch or turn the starter. It smells like its burning rich and feels under powered. Any ideas? I feel like I need to adjust the timing but the cutting off is still bothering me.
