96 - S10 Pickup, ABS + break light problem
Hi.
I have a strange problem with my 96 S10 Pickup truck.
First of all, the ABS light and brake light turns on if I just put my foot on the break pedal. And they also turn on when I'm using the heating system. If it's "OFF" the lights are off too. I don't think the ABS works either. Sometimes I can feel the ABS unit in the breakpedal (vibrations) in low speed while breaking easily.
Another strange thing with this is if I'm running down the highway and turn on the heating system (from OFF to DEF), the RPM of the engine seems to rise a bit. It can differ almost 500 rpm just by turning on and off the heating system. It seems as if the engine is loosing power when using some electricity. So something is really strange here.
Does any body have a clue what this might be?
Thanks for your help.
