Default 99 blazer motor swap

I recently helped a friend put in a new "used" motor in his 99 blazer. We used all of his old parts, but the engine will not fire. We have no codes or reasons why. It seems to get ignition, but no injector pulse.

We were wondering, since the computer was un plugged for close to a month, could this be a factor?

We did install a new cap, rotor, plugs and replaced all of the vaccum lines. The original motor had no running issues other than a bad main crank bearing failure. The donor motor was from a 96 silverado.

Have you checked the ignition control module? It sounds like that may be the cause of your problems..
