Default blower fan failure 96S10


the blower fan does not work at any speed.
initially, i've checked fuses, which are OK. what's the next step? thanks in advance for your consideration...

If your 100% sure of the fuses then disconnect the connector to the blower and jumper 12volts to it and see if it works.

If this works then start tracing back toward the switch for voltage.

redtop, if u haven't fixed the problem yet here r some suggestions 2 check. tap the relay that is mounted 2 the outside of the heater box with a screw driver (or something like it), if the relay is acting up, the blower should come on (put the switch in a postion so u'll hear it start up). if this doesn't do anything, try checking the speed controller resistor (the 3-prong part sticking out of the top of the heater box). since u said the fan does't work @ any speed, i would check the relay first. good luck.
