Default Blowing alternators

Was driving 95 S10 blazer, began to notice a strong odor of battery acid. Back in shop the battery had boiled over and the alternator was no longer charging. Replaced batt and alt, all was good for a couple days and alt quit charging. Replaced alt, ok for a couple days alt quit charging. Have replaced alt and now wondering if am getting bad alt's or if something on vehicle is causing failure.
At a loss on this one. Getting alt's from autozone. Have not run vehicle since replacing last alt. Check for short using volt meter, drain is 3.25 volt, only thing to stop drain was disconnecting ecm. Have no way to check amp draw.

Need help with this. Thanks
