Chevy S10 Clutch Problems
Hello.
I have a 97 S10 pickup (RWD, V4). Recently the clutch slipped so I changed it out using a clutch kit.
Everything is good, except now it pulls air into the hydraulic line, so every 100 miles/4 days, or so I have to bleed the clutch or it will just loose pressure.
I have narrowed it down to either the hydraulic clutch line or the slave cylinder. Since the Slave is IN the bell housing, I'm going to try the line first.
I bought the line, but I can't get it out of the slave cylinder.
Here is a pic:
The connection on the RIGHT is what I can't get off. I bought the removal tool, but it is USELESS, unless I'm totally using it wrong (I'm prying). I can get the platic sleeve off both lines but I pull and pry and it wont come out.
Maybe there is a mechanism to release it that I dont see.... Any ideas?
Thanks.
