Default Does it sound like I need a fuel pump??

Hey guys. I have a 2003 Chevy S10. I'll be the first to admit I'm not a car guy. Don't know much about them. None the less, I was driving on the highway and felt I was almost losing power. Put my foot on the gas pedal to the floor and only made it to about 65mph. First time that's ever happened.

Made it home safe. The next day, I put the key in the ignition and it wouldn't turn over. Just kept making a " err err err" sound. Tryin to start, but wouldn't. Since then the truck has been sitting. Now the battery is dead in it because it's been sitting for a while. It has it's problems and needs fixed up, but one thing at a time. Does that sound like a fuel pump to you guys? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It could actually be many things. Do a fuel pressure check to see if it is the fuel pump.
