Default doing some rework on 2000 blazer with 4.3

Have changed intake and installed carbureator. What can we use for distributer? Caan we still use original one? Thanks for any help.

You should be able to re-install the original distributor. However, I'm guessing that you're trying to get some better performance by changing the intake and going to a carb. I believe Accel and Mallory make aftermarket distributors for the 4.3. You might want to consider how many miles are on the original and then determine how much performance you want and how much you want to pay for it.

Thanks for the information, still debating this. Since we have to change the fuel pump, for pressure, and a few other changes, we thought we would need to change the distributor. With no fuel injection, will the computer still control timing and all else except the fuel?

I found some stuff online that may help you. Search 2000 vortec v-6 carb swap. Good luck with your project.
