1999 Blazer Brake Issues
So my wife was driving my Blazer and the brake pedal went to the floor, the truck still stopped, but not very well, so after looking into it I found that a banjo bolt had come loose?? My parts are all warrantied so I replaced the caliper and banjo bolt, but I can not figure out why the brake light is still on and the pedal is still going to the floor?? And yes I bleed the brake, maybe try it again??

It is possible that when the pedal went to the floor it damaged the master cylinder. At the end of the master is a section that never gets used unless you are bleeding a new cylinder. Over time little dimples of corrosion build up in the bore then when a line blows on something like that, the pedal goes to the end of the bore and tears the diaphragm in the master. It is also good practice when replacing any components that require bleeding to put a wood block under the brake pedal while bleeding to ensure the master never goes that far forward.
