Motor swap from 96 s10 2.2l to 98 s10 2.2l 5speed
Hi im new to the forums, I cant find my answer anywhere so I cam here. Now so far I have read the 98 s10 has a vortec SFI L4 2.2l in it, I have a 96 s10 with a 2.2l, was wondering if I could drop the 96 2.2 in the 98 and everything would match up okay or wont need a lot of modification. Just want to know if the truck would run properly with a non vortec 2.2l. If not could I still use the 5 speed out of the 98 for the 96
