Default My new gmc jimmy

Hi I am new to this forum and would like to post a few pics and a link to a video and see if maybe someone out there might be able to help. my boyfriend rescently bought me a 1998 gmc jimmy. we were told by the previous owners that it was a one of a kind tommy hilfiger concept car. that it was designed for concept cure and was raffled off for breast cancer awareness, at 10.00 a ticket. I am asking for help because i would liketo start making improvements, but don't want to depreciate the value of it by making changes. THANK YOU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X54f6B9KWNU

beachbumb3286 ... how could you improve that truck?

Its one of a kind and will draw lots of attention.

I'm not sure what sort of improvements you had in mind, new sound system? New paint? More horses under the hood?

What were you thinking about changing?

Welcome to the forum!
Looks good. Definately unique. It could use a new set of chrome rims. I don't think thats the wheel that were themed with the vehicle. Looks like a set of el cheapos.
Id definately buy a set of 5 tires and rims...
Interior gets good marks in my opinion. Never seen one like it.

Do your Envoy headlights have the true HIDs?

Its got some character for sure, I suggest re-spray the white/red to the same blue color rest of body(nice shade of blue BTW) and leave the other hilfigur accents as is, get a new set of rims and it will be super clean!

80 bucks a bulb huh? Damn.

The bulb number is D2S. GM changed the bulb color in the 2001 model, so if only one needs replacing, you need to match it up with the correct color temp.

I could probably rig a $30 phillips bulb to work with it... don't know how experienced you are with working on it, but if you need to, I have AIM and I could probably walk you through most of it.

with it being 1 of a kind he wants to keep it all original,so painting it all blue is out of the question. good idead though.tires n rims a first on the list to change. i want to keep the HIDS so i will buy the bulb. i drive a 2000 S10 now and it sits low so i get blinded by everyone elses HIDS, i will glady return the favor.lol
