need more power!! :D

hey guys im in the process of purchasing a 1991 S10 pickup 5spd 4.3L and im looking for simple ways to gain a big power boost but trying to stay within a budget andy suggestions or ideas?

Silicon wires. High performance spark plugs. Performance exhaust are the only cheap power boost options i can think of
