Default Carrier bearing vibrations and premature death

I recently bought a 2001 2500HD 2WD lifted truck. And recently had to get the Carrier bearing replaced do to the driveshaft eating away at all the rubber and violently beating on the metal surrounding it. Was told by the mechanic that did the replacement install of the CB that it's due to pinon angle and having a slip yoke.
Does anyone know how to fix it for the long run and keep it from continuously going through Carrier bearings like they're appetizers?

Personally its going to be to be a daily driver. And just want it to be maintainable and be able to depend on it.
