Default Burning mp3s to a DVD...anyone have luck with playback?

I have a 2008 Hybrid with Nav but cannot get a burned mp3 DVD to work.

I tried to burn about 7 gigs worth of mp3s to a dual layer DVD but my player will not read it.

It will read mp3 CDs though.

Has anyone had any luck burning mp3s to a DVD for playback? How did you burn it?

I tried using Nero - mp3 DVD and that did not work. I also tried data DVD and put them on there and that did not work either....[/align]

You might have to try a different type of DVD are you using the +R or the -R
I have not tried MP3's in the DVD only in the CD and they have played fine with the CD+R

I have found the easiest way to deal with it is to use an MP3 player or Ipod

I use my Ipod and Iphone with it too.

I just like the ease of having a DVD with 7 gigs of music on it though.

The player did playback a DVD I burned on the same type of disc (DVD movie that is).

I will try some others, just to make sure but my guess is it does not support DVD MP3 discs.

Yes, it will read DL DVDs.... I burned a couple of DL movies and it plays them back fine.

is there anyone who's 'hacked' the tahoe head unit? the My Gig has a whole hacker following, I think you can write a new OS for it... and do whatever you want...
