A battery hold down is a common thing that people get denied access to the track for. If you're just running a street legal vehicle, a seatbelt, good tires, no loose body parts, battery hold down, no leaks (at least major leaks), etc....In general your vehicle has to be mechanically sound.

A fire extinguisher is required at every track I have ever been to. Marine ABC fire extinguisher will work fine.

All depends on the class and speeds you run. In MD, anything under 11 seconds is helmet required.

In cali, I beleive its anything under 12 or even 13 sec require's an "approved" helmet, definetly check their web site or call the track they probably have a recording that states some info.
