Nascar in the rain at Montreal.

I turned it to ESPN after getting disgusted with the Panthers game and I saw the Nationwide sereis qualifying in groups GT-style in the rain at Montreal. The cars are retrofitted with wipers and flashers too. It has definately been an exiting qualifying session to watch. They are doing great at keeping the cars under control in the rain, but they have all jacked them sideways at some point.

If NASCAR is really serious about "returning to basics"(which they are NOT)then here's a few things to help them get started.
1- Southern 500 on Labor Day
2- Let each team "earn" their way into the field.... NO top 35!!!
3- 1pm starting times for the East coast.
4- Pull one of the Fontana,Ca races(along w/ a few others)and reassign the dates to someplace where people will COME to see it.

Now, that should be good for starters. Are you listening NASCAR???
