Exclamation Factory Amp...

Does anyone know the specs for the factory amp for the rear speakers in the Cavalier "premium" sound system? I was planning on installing after-market speakers in my 2003 Cavalier when I ran into this. Can this amp be used with after-market speakers in some way, and if not, what's the easiest way to bypass it?

Thanks for the schematic Mike, that will prove helpful if I decide to bypass the amp.

Try to get 2 way speakers and hook up the woofer to the wires for the woofer from the amp and the same for the tweeter. You may have to cut the wires going to the spades of the aftermarket speaker to achieve this
