Hey guys/gals! New to the forums here. Have a couple of questions. My wife drives a 2000 chevy cavalier. We havent had any real issues with the car other than the air going out in this hot georgia climate. Recently the car has started sputtering almost to the point of shutting off completely at a stop. When I crank it up, it sputters like its losing power. When im driving it, it feels like there is no response to the gas up until I reach about 30mph then it "kicks in" and gains power. However, when I slow back to about 30mph it starts sputtering again. It will stall when pressing the gas upon taking off...the cut out when slowing down.
Any thoughts? I ran some Lucas fuel injectors cleaner through it and it was still cutting out/sputtering/stalling. I was thinking it may be the fuel injectors? We had the fuel pump replaced app 2 yrs ago....
Thanks for any advice!
