I am possibly paranoid, due to the fact that I need my 2008 equinox to last as long as possible..I currently have 88,000 Miles.
I feel there may be an issue with my transmission.
Here is why I believe this.
As I accelerate I can feel each shift very "clearly"
In stop and go traffic if I gently press the accelerator I can feel a jerk.
When going up a Hill with steady throttle the vehicle will shift (downshift?) in a way that would seemingly add stress. In otherwords I will be going along up the hill and suddenly it will drop speed and rpms and I will need to press more on the throttle to get back going.
Not sure if this is the transmission...definitley a problem.
When I reverse I hear a "pop" or "click" but this seems to occur when going up any incline in reverse with or without the wheel turned.
I can hear a faint whine in reverse and drive.

Of coure I have mentioned all this to the dealership and they "cannot recreate the issue"
Any suggestions? I really need to have this fixed under warranty and the clock is ticking. 12,000 miles So I have about 3 months, with the way I drive for work.
