Default Lift on a chevy 2500hd

Thinking about purchasing a 08 2500hd with a 7" lift. Are there any issues that Im going to run into with ball joints or other parts that seem to have problems with lift kits? Anyone have any ongoing issues once you get into the higher miles?

Thanks for any input!

We would need to know what brand of lift is installed to give you a good answer.
Some of the lifts don't change the ride too much other than stability, I would also assume that it has larger tires and may need a gear change to compensate for that.

The truck has a superlift 7" lift with 35" tires and a PPE excelerator program tuner. Thanks for the help. Mainly I am most concerned with the issues I may have with replacing failing parts on my truck due to the lift. I have heard of many guys that have had to replace parts in lifted 1/2 ton trucks and say they will never buy a truck with a lift again. This will be my everyday vehicle.

Here is a link to the lift you are talking about. http://www.superlift.com/Catalog.asp?P=K309&V=77
I don't think you will have much trouble with it but with the 35's you should still consider a gear change to keep your low end strong.
