Thanks! I'm going to get a few more miles out of these tires before matching the set. The fronts are Kelly Safaris in P235/70/15, so when I do swap I'll get a little more height.

What would the wheel spacers do for me? I don't seem to be rubbing at full lock. If I go bigger I can see it for sure.

It would look better. A more aggressive stance.

Ah! I see. Perhaps I should explain as I'm new around here. I don't do stuff for looks. I prefer to abide by form follows function. I ride a KLR650 DualSport motorcycle, not pretty by any means, but definitely badass and a real performer.

I put a Buell headlight on it, to fix a couple of lighting issues, it's got suspension upgrades, crash protection (because I do), and some custom luggage. The engine is basically stock, but at 25+K miles, I'll be doing a rebore to 685cc soon, if I don't go whole hog and bore/stroke it to 733CC. That will cost a lot so it may not happen for a while. The 685CC is pretty cost effective.

I recently picked up the red bike for my wife to start riding, it's a blank canvas for Her to customize as she sees fit. I've gone through it, done all the maintenance, lubed the suspension and adjusted the valves. Even managed to get rid of the oxidized finish and bring it's color back. I added some hand guards to protect the levers with her permission.

Back to the Astro... I will go with a wider rim/spacers if I decide to go any further with this machine. The price of Astros in general and the AWD models is pretty low and I may just get one of those to do a 6" lift, regear it, and run 33" on it.

Looks good I'm liking the bikes. Might make for a good thread in the Off-Topic Lounge section.

Default Astro Lift Kits

Was asked by a friend at work which TJ lift kits have good or bad reputations. I really have no idea as I drive a CJ

So I bet you all can offer advice on whats good or not for TJs.

He is looking at a 3 lift.
