There is this camaro that really catches my interest and it would be my first "muscle car" but my friend said that he would trade me 350 1992 camaro rs for my 98 Silverado C1500 and my 94 Probe GT Now i was wondering if i should do it?? I also own a 96 pgt and a 2000 Venture and 99 taurus plus the part probe 97 pgt what do you guys think am i getting ripped off? i replaced all the gaskets in this 350 camaro and it runs like a champ it is really screwing my head up.... Cool

Do you have something to pull your trailer besides the 1500? The minute the pickup is gone, your towing options are going to be severely diminished.

The time you put into the work on the Camaro has an unseen value, as well as your familiarity of that specific vehicle.

What does the other guy see in the 1500 and the Probe(a Ford, ergo worthless IMHO) trade. Is there something we don't know about the Probe?

Do you have a track available to ruin (OOPS I meant"run") the Camaro? Legal racing isn't the issue here. Safety is. We lose more people on the roads each year than in all the drug violence and drive-by shootings combined. Wartime casualties don't rival our annual death toll on the roads-BEFORE you start to include recreational vehicle activities, like racing.

You don't want to put your license at risk, either. Any decent race with a worthwhile competitor is worth the time it takes to set it up at the track.

You may not have thought of this, but if someone got hurt while you were running and gunning on the street, you'd never forgive yourself.

I say go for it. If worse comes to worse and you have to tow something, the Venture with its 3.8L can pull a relatively light trailer.

If you're talking about a total value of $800. why are you still thinking about it?

Do it. Not only will you be getting 3 vehicles down to one,(the parts probe as well as the runner) if you don't you'll always look back and regret not having taken advantage of this opportunity.

Why should somebody else benefit from all your work, and not you?

Once passed up a '57 Chevy with a 327. That was 45+ years ago and I haven't forgotten. Get the damn Camaro....at least the wife likes it and will ride with ya.
