Default Chevy 2.8L V6

Hey guys, first post and new to the forum so bare with me.

I bought a S10 Blazer about two months ago for 200 off of craigslist, threw a new clutch in it and she worked like new. My question is, what do you guys know about the little excuse of a V6 that they have in there? I mean, is there anyway to get more power out of it or is it not worth trying to do anything to, to start off with?

And going from there, I have a Chevy 700R4 Transmission and a Chevy 305 short block sitting in my Garage, how hard is it to do a V8 swap into the S10 Blazer and how much modification am I going to have to do? Has anyone else done it and can tell me from personal experience?

Thanks Guys.

JTR Manual will answer most if not all your question about this swap.
