Default Need opinion on what to install on 07 silverado 1500 crew cab

I am currently deployed and when i get back i plan on doing some work to my truck. I want to put headers, cold air intake and exhaust on. Right now i am thinking about gibson headers with K&N cold air intake and a 40 series flowmaster exhaust package. What i am looking for is something that sounds tough and loud. Right now I have Flowmaster on it and i like the rumble but am looking for more. Does anyone out there have any suggestions on what sounds good and is good quality? I have a crew cab 07 new style also with a 4.8 and used a cherrybomb extreme 3in in 3 in out with a turn down between the cab and axle from jegs 68 bucks delivered. took about 30 min to install and sounds nasty. if your around houston id be glad to show you or you can listen to many combinations on youtube believe it or not. I was a flowmaster fan till i got this baby. Also it ran crappy for a few days then adjusted and runs like hell now.

Do we have to change out our pistons, headers, ect ect.. or can we just throw a turbo on there and run low PSI till we build up our engines some more?
