I have a 1999 Suburban, 454 cu. in., 188,00 miles. A couple of months ago the vehicle died. The mechanic installed a new fuel pump and filter. The vehicle was working fine for a few days then it was difficult to start, had to continually crank the engine and pump the gas. Shortly thereafter, the "Service Engine Soon" light came on. Now the vehicle won't start at all. Any insights?
