So on my way to work I say that the DTC light was on in my truck ('97 Z71 5.7L Vortec). I hooked up the code scanner once I got to work in anticipation of it reading P1870 (which is common for my truck). To my surprise it was a P1041 code (O2 Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 2)). Of late I have be noticing my truck would feel like it was missing at idle I thought it was the plugs. When I checked them they look fine. I have also had problems with my engine lagging sometimes when I accelerate after first starting the vehilce.
Could this O2 sensor be causing my problems? Also which O2 sensor is Bank 1, Sensor 2? I know the truck has 2 O2 sensor precat, one for each V bank but which is Sensor 2?
