Default External Combustion Engine

Anyone else seen this? It's starting to get some serious attention with investors putting big bucks into aquiring it. Here's a link to the manufacture's website...
http://www.cyclonepower.com/cyclone_engine_uses.html

And here's another story on DefenseNews that's looking into using it...

Funny, I remember looking under a hood of an oooold Chevy truck and the air filter looked like this engine.

Thats dang snappy.
To think that this is running 60,000 RPMs...

The science behind it is older than that which is behind the internal combustion engine. I just think its amazing that something like that can be done with technology that old.

Its bulky, but that could very well be the way of the future.

I do remember reading about that before, not not sure where.I do remember something about how they where going to start a production run and lost their funding and was looking for investors.Recently,I was asked about a propane fuel string trimmer being sold by Sears.I guess I'll have to take a look to see what that is all about.Maybe they have engines from this tech already.

This is cool. Gonna get one of my engineer friends (with automotive development background) to look at this. Thanks.
