I'm planning to do a nice paint job on some accent pieces on the front part of the dash in my car, like the piece around the radio, and around the vents but I can't figure out how to get them off. I'm afraid I'll pull too hard and break it... I'm also looking for some advice on colors and how I should paint it. Feel free to include some pictures of interior paint jobs done on your own cars!! I also want to paint my hub caps. The car is purple.. should I do an accenting color, the same color as the body, or a different shade of purple? Help me make my car look awesome!! Thanks!

Using plastic pry tools, pry the trim from above the glove compartment. There are just some clips in there. pry down the top right corner of the drivers knee bolster and pry out the small piece of trim behind the key, then pry the trim around the radio. Again its all clipped in
unfortunately, the vents are a lot more work.(see pic below). You may want to paint them in the car
