Default GM Chrome??

Well this is really starting to piss me off. On the 06 dmax with 64,000 on the clock, the front bumper is rusting around the bolt holes and really bad on the edges, and the frame is starting to rust. Polished it the other day and the chrome strip that runs down the side is bubbling and pitting really bad. It looks aweful. I know its a farm truck but is there any way to possibly prevent this from happening. In the winter it gets washed once a week, which is usually plenty to keep this from happening Register today for free or log-in if already registered to remove this ad!

Isn't there some warranty on paint and rust protection? Check your dealer first, before you remove the molding.

I think theres only a 10-year rust-through warranty. That would mean it went out 7 years ago.

Kevin was referring to his 06 truck. I thought he was talking about the 92.
