Thumbs up 0-60 in the Blazer

After I put my new tires on yesterday, I reprogrammed the Blazer back to the Hi Performance settings, reprogrammed the speedometer for the smaller tires, and took it out for a spin.
Between the re-addition of the programmer and the new tires, my acceleration improved a lot!

I took a video. I stood on the brake, revved it to 2500, then let go of the brake and dropped the hammer. Best I can tell, 0-60 is 7.7 seconds. Not bad considering it goes 0-60 in 9.2 from the factory.

Thought the song sounded familiar.. I've heard it a few times, but not like the other Evans Blue songs.. sounded kinda like Three Doors Down too, with the camera distorting the sound. Im a rock fan at heart.. but with helping friends fine tune thier systems this past week, I haven't listened to much rock. We did blow about 90 30amp fuses tho.. =p

Ooh.. p.s. Wanna race? lol What motor does your blazer have in it? I think its posted somewhere but I'm not quite sure where..

Its a 4.3L V6

The old Evans Blue isn't too good in my opinion. They got a new singer and the last album was much better.

Nice Brent! Now I'm going to have to go and do that and see what the time is. Mine gets a good jump with no tuning done to it, so I can imagine what yours does. FLY!!! Gotta get the ball joints replaced first so the blazer doesn't shake itself apart when i hit 80 lol.

It won't fly like that for another couple of weeks. I took off from the light Saturday to try to get ahead of everyone so I could get to the on ramp in Goldsboro. I felt something slam into the floorboard under my foot. That only means one thing... broke transmission mount
But its about time, I broke the engine mount 2 years ago and only replaced it and not the transmission mount.

Hooray for car repairs lmao!

Doesn't it seem like it always happens that way. You get something new and go to have fun with it and something else goes wrong.
