I Have a 99 Camaro with 164k miles. The serv eng light has come on. I noticed that when I started up a incline it would miss slightly and the light would then start blinking. I also noticed the A/C would shift to the floor vent. It was still blowing but blowing down toward the floor. Once I leveled off and cruised at about 65 mph, the engine ran smooth, the light stayed on but stopped blinking, the A/C returned to the upper vents like normal. Any thoughts? I thought it may have to do with a vacuum leak being the A/C was effected in this strange way. Have not had the car long and have been a Ford man for many years. Would welcome all comments

First thing you need to do is take it somewhere like autozone and get the codes read so you know what your dealing with. I think the blinking light is not good. I see this thread is a bit old so hopefully youve already gotton it looked at.
