hey boy's.i got here is a 1987 gmc 3/4 tonne 4x4.I put a 1987 454 V8 drive train in it out of a 1 tonne dualie. The 454 is carb and the 3/4 tonne had a fuel injected 350.So heres my question to ya's.As you may know the 3/4 tonne had the 2 tanks witch ran down each side of the truck.I want to eliminate the 2 tanks and go with a single tank.Either figure out a way to rear mount one or go with one in the box.If i have to go with the box choice will it stand up to the mud and off road abuse i built the truck for.any opinion will be great. Thanks

nice setup brother...what you want to look for is a tank from a blazer... most any year with rear mount tank....i removed a tank from a 89 with a nice thick skid plate from a blazer for a project...couple mods and your set..
bed mounted george ..do you mean mount right inside the bed?i do some fairly narly trails and mine is mounted in the rear not the bed and it does just fine...besides the normal scartches from rolling over rocks....i do like the idea of having it in the bed for easy access
