Default Suburban Won't Start

I have a 1999 Suburban, 454 cu. in., 188,00 miles. A couple of months ago the vehicle died. The mechanic installed a new fuel pump and filter. The vehicle was working fine for a few days then it was difficult to start, had to continually crank the engine and pump the gas. Shortly thereafter, the "Service Engine Soon" light came on. Now the vehicle won't start at all. Any insights? Register today for free or log-in if already registered to remove this ad!

I had the same problem. If you didn't by the pump from ACDelco go for it.
