07 Equinox missing during acceleration

I have an 07 Equinox. I recently started missing if I slow down and then speed up again, usually at around 45-60 mph, and it's really bad if I accelerate up a hill. I has done this for about 2 weeks and I've tried different gas, had oil and oil filter changed and they said the air filter was fine. My check engine light just came on last night and stayed on. I'm taking it in on Monday because the warranty is about to expire but just wondered if anyone knows what it may be and if it is a big issue.

it could be the coils. My Aunts Equinox did the same thing and a coil had melted. To close to the header
