Default 2000 Astro compressor clutch

can you put a new bearing in the compressor clutch? It is chirping. Gets quiet with some wd40, but not for long. Register today for free or log-in if already registered to remove this ad!

Are you sure it is not the belt? You can put a new clutch assembly on it, but remember the entire compressor is the same age, part of it is bad now. How long until the rest is bad? The price of a remanufactured compressor is almost the same as the pieces needed. Also you need special tools to remove and install the clutch.
