Question Air intake taking air from in side of cab?

I'm thinking about taking a Spectre Performance Musclecar Fresh Air Box Kit and sending the hoses through the fire wall to use the air from in side of the cab.
These are advantages
  1. After a while air will become a constant temp so it won't mess with your carb settings
  2. On daily driver and your driving with a car that has a carb all You need to do to help it warm up faster is turn on the heater using warm air from inside help it warm up faster
  3. Like the best way to keep water out of it in tell you cross a 4ft deep creek but thats kinda rare for me
  4. You wont go through filters as fast because your cab air stays cleaner then under the hood
  5. Colder Air? Crank up the A/C

Next disadvantages
  1. The set up doesnt look as good as a open element
  2. Will the duel 4 in' hoses be able to feed my Beefy 383?
  3. More noise that can be a advantage or a disadvantage you can always turn up the radio but what if Your talking with some one my truck will soon have duel 44s ass well
  4. Gas fumes well if the carb is pulling air i dont think thats a problem intill you stop at a light. It might not even hapen
  5. Its sucks to replace the air filter

What do you think? I would love to hear from people. Good or Bad

This system is for when I swap out my 350 to a 383 with
10-1 compression
Fully CnC ported 72cc Al Heads
Duel exhaust-Hooker tuned super comp headers with 44s
Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap plus added CnC porting with a Street Sweeper Super Sucker Carb Spacer then a Holly 700 Double Pumper

Another thing to consider is that you will always need a vent or a window open to replace the air being removed from the interior, also you will not be providing heated air into the interior until after the engine has warmed up.
