Question 350 marine engine into a '68 El Camino??

Hey,
I am Helping my dad swap a 350 Marine engine into his '68 El CAMINO malibu.
if anyone has done this, or knows anything about it, any tips comments, anything will help!

also i have been searching for photos of the 68 el camino engine compartment, so i have something to refer to, and i am not just going off of what my dad says it "looks like". if anyone can help me with that to, that woul be fantastic
thanks
Becca

Becca,

I am not absolutely sure, but I do think I remember some of the marine engines rotated in reverse. What I mean is the fired counter clock wise.If that is the case, you would have the fastest car in reverse on this forum.

That is possible, I know some of the boats have twins with counter rotating props.
